Bernard, I'm also running 10.5.8 and have ForeverSave Lite running successfully. Version 1.1 is what I have.
Maybe Wayne can put us in touch and I can send this version to you, all 2.8 mb :)

Wayne, your 'How to ... ' above says, "Foreversave Lite is a free app that adds autosave to any OS X program." I have Mac OSX 10.5.8, but the FREE Download requires Mac OSX 10.6.X. I can't find article for Autosaving Pages with 10.5.8! Can you suggest an 'How to ... ' please?

great program. Pages can do autosave via AppleScript, too, and, remember, what you save is your responsibility - you have to choose when and what to save. Pages took the "hippy" option, which is that you have to choose to save a version, or have to choose to save the current document (they are different choices - maybe you'd like to retain what you wrote before, but would also like to save your current work). ForeverSave solves the problem by doing both. Pages is a good program, but you might consider the options offered here: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/links.php

Thanks for this! I wish I'd read it 2 days ago, though - 4 hours wasted on a Keynote presentation!
