I did not remove any files (as described above). Worked straight away after a lot of previous frustration. The clue sinked in when I noticed the scanner was trying to start up when asked to scan but not following through. I tried to find the lide60 drivers on the US and AU sites... but they all only list drivers for 10.6.0 And every time I try to install the 10.6.0 driver, I get a message... PowerPC no longer supported. So I suspect this is a new issue. I will probably try to attach this lide 60 to my windows server 2008 box now. I have iOS 1.7.2 that I jsut got.
